Braves pitcher Jonny Venters is appealing his four-game suspension for throwing consecutive pitches at Milwaukee's Prince Fielder last weekend.

Venters will be available for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

He threw a pitch over Fielder's head and his next pitch hit him in the back Saturday.

Atlanta manager Bobby Cox was suspended one game.
