The White Sox have spent the last few days trying to acquire Adam Dunn from the Nationals, according to major-league sources.

Chicago general manager Kenny Williams has been offering up "anyone and anything he has in the minor leagues in a package."

According to the sources, Washington is valuing Dunn very highly.
