Buck Showalter will not be named the Orioles' manager this weekend.

Despite several national media outlets reporting earlier in the week that a deal with Showalter was imminent and could be made official as soon as Saturday, a source familiar with the situation refuted those claims on Saturday morning and said there is "zero chance" of a deal being completed over the weekend.

There has been no formal offer extended to Showalter, according to a Major League source, and the Orioles are not expected to make any announcements in the next few days.
