The Nationals don't expect to trade Adam Dunn due to the offers received by GM Mike Rizzo, according to a source. "As I said in the past, Adam Dunn is a big part of this club -- anchors the middle of the lineup, anchors the clubhouse," Rizzo said. "It would take an extraordinary deal to trade him, but we are going to keep our options open for anything that happens. "That's my job, to impact the ball club positively. If it's by extending him, that's what we will do. But if there is something that has to be done as far as trade. We'll have to explore those options also." Dunn said Saturday that he is not impatient before the trade deadline. "There's nothing I can control so what am I going to get impatient about?," Dunn asked. "I'm playing baseball -- I'm not playing any other game. It's out of my decision and I don't know anything else to say about it. It's out of my control."
