Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig said on Tuesday that the Mets "deserve" to host an All-Star Game at Citi Field.

The Mets are expected to be awarded the 2013 All-Star Game, but Selig wouldn't confirm anything.

"The Mets have built a great new ballpark and, yes, they deserve an All-Star Game," Selig said.
