Derrek Lee won't ask for a trade out of Chicago.

"I've been on 100-loss teams," Lee said Friday. "Baseball is not always easy."

Lee would be an attractive commodity on the trade market.

"I signed a contract here for five years. Until someone tells me otherwise, I'll honor the contract."
