Padres closer Heath Bell and Rays reliever Rafael Soriano were named as replacements for the AL and NL All-Star teams, respectively, on Wednesday.

Soriano will replace Yankees closer Mariano Rivera for the AL and Bell will replace Brewers right-hander Yovani Gallardo for the NL.
