Yankees manager Joe Girardi believes leaving Stephen Strasburg off the National League All-Star roster was the right decision.

"I'm looking at guys who have been there the whole year, 15-16 starts," said Girardi. "The kid (Strasburg) is a great talent but (other) guys have logged a lot of innings."

Strasburg has a 2-2 mark with a 2.27 ERA in five starts.
