The Mets will evaluate the health of outfielder Carlos Beltran next week. Beltran has been playing games in Port St. Lucie. "Somewhere, in about a week's time, we are going to evaluate him again," general manager Omar Minaya said. Until he's evaluated, Beltran won't advance past the Single-A level. Beltran is recovering from January knee surgery, and has yet to play a game for the Mets this year.
