Dodgers manager Joe Torre will face the Yankees on Friday night for the first time since leaving the team three seasons ago.

"The odd thing for me is that I'm going to be pulling against people I've never pulled against," Torre said.

Torre guided the Yankees to four World Series titles and was managing when mainstays like Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada and Andy Pettitte came up.

"I grew up with him," Jeter said. "I played for him when I was 21."
