Mets center fielder Carlos Beltran will play his first minor league rehab game in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Thursday. Major league rules indicate that Beltran can only spend 20 days on rehab, which may indicate that he'll return right after the All-Star break at the latest. He is still limping on his surgically repaired right knee, but general manager Omar Minaya is confident he's ready.
