The Cubs are in no rush to decide whether former first-round draft choice Andrew Cashner will be a starter or a reliever. Cashner hasn't allowed a run in seven relief appearances. He was 2-0 with a 0.69 ERA in two starts for Triple-A Iowa in late May. "It's way too early to tell," general manager Jim Hendry said when asked if Cashner's future was in the bullpen or rotation. "We don't have to decide now. We're trying to win games. He's in the role he needs to be in. "At some point, we'll have his input involved, too, but it won't be in the middle of the season. We'll address it this offseason."
