Mets right-hander John Maine will be evaluated in New York early this week and is unlikely to continue with his rehab assignment in the minor leagues. "Most likely not," general manager Omar Minaya said about letting Maine make another minor league start. "First, let's evaluate him, and go from there." Maine allowed one run, unearned, on one hit and three walks while striking out four in 4 1/3 innings for Triple-A Buffalo on Friday against Indianapolis. "He said he just didn't feel the way he wants to feel -- the throwing area," Minaya said.
