Bobby Valentine met Friday with Orioles owner Peter Angelos and general manager Andy MacPhail on Friday, a source confirmed to ESPN.com.

Valentine said, "Out of concern to all parties, I have no comment on what I have been doing or who I have been talking to."

The Orioles fired Dave Trembley on June 4 and replaced him with interim manager Juan Samuel.
