The Orioles interviewed Eric Wedge for their managerial vacancy on Wednesday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Wedge is believed to be the first candidate to be interviewed by Baltimore president Andy MacPhail.

The team was expected to interview Bobby Valentine on Friday.
