The Rays will soon sign first-round pick Justin O'Conner. The organization will fly out to O'Conner on Thursday morning when he will take a physical. "I'm just pretty excited right now," O'Conner said. "I'm kind of nervous to get down there and see where I'm going to be playing and staying." The Rays selected O'Conner with the 31st overall pick on Monday night.
