The Rangers are looking for players with upside in this week's MLB draft. "We want high upside players and we feel there are a lot of those in this draft," Texas director of amateur scouting Kip Fagg said. "Those are guys, from our end, that are younger and athletic, toolsy players." Fagg said that doesn't mean the Rangers wouldn't take college players, but they are focused on young players that can work their way through the system. The Rangers have the No. 15 and No. 22 picks in the first round. |
