Just to release a little bit and get some of that out, because you know what, that's a tough day." Teixeira entered Sunday hitting .215 with eight homers and 34 RBIs. "He's had a tough year to this point, no doubt about it, but we still have a long way to go," Long said. "We're two games out [of first place]. He's our No. 3 hitter. We won a World Series with him in the 3-hole. Fans want to destroy him. You guys want to destroy him. That's your business. I'm not with that.
