Yankees catcher Jorge Posada was the team's designated hitter on Wednesday, but he doesn't want to leave catching full-time.

Posada came off the disabled list after missing 15 games with a broken bone in his right foot. He'll be New York's DH until his foot finishes healing.

"I'm not a DH yet," Posada said.

With Francisco Cervelli hitting .311, some believe Posada should be the team's everyday DH.

"This is a day-to-day thing," manager Joe Girardi said. "You're asking me to make decisions based on possibly July and August. I'm just not going to do that. But I would like [Posada] to catch again. I want him to catch again."
