Mets center fielder Carlos Beltran is still a long way from returning to the field.

He has not been cleared to resume baseball activities and it will be at least a month from a return to the Mets once he is been cleared.

Beltran is hitting and running in Port St. Lucie as he continues to recover from offseason knee surgery.
