Bruce Bochy refuted a pregame TV report that Tim Lincecum had a blister on his pitching hand, but Andrew Baggerly of the Mercury News reports that it might be a case of semantics.

Back in spring training, Lincecum had a cracked nail on the middle finger of his pitching hand.

Lincecum is possibly dealing with the cracked nail issue again. Lincecum had both hands very conspicuously buried in the pockets of his sweatshirt while he conducted his postgame interview.

Lincecum walked 10 over his first seven starts. He?s walked 15 over his last three.
