Dan Lozano, the agent for Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols, has left the Beverly Hills Sports Council. Lozano, who had been with the firm since 1989, was one of their four main partners. Pujols is closing in on free agency and is expected to sign an enormous contract. He is making $16 million this year in the final year of a guaranteed seven-year, $100 million contract. The Cardinals have a $16 million club option on him for 2011.
