The Rangers are attempting to complete the sale of the club through a voluntary bankruptcy plan that would fully pay the club's debt to the creditors.

The club has filed a court petition and will appear before a judge Tuesday to begin what they hope is the process that transfers ownership from Hicks Sports Group to Rangers Baseball Express, which includes team president Nolan Ryan.
