The Rangers are still interested in Mike Lowell, according to the Boston Globe.

"A Rangers official told me last week he'd love to get Lowell in Texas," Nick Cafardo wrote on Sunday.

Lowell said last week that he thinks the best decision for both him and the Red Sox would be for him to be released.
