The Yankees protested Tuesday night's game against the Red Sox, claiming that starter Josh Beckett wasn't really hurt when Boston pulled him from a game New York was leading 5-0.

On Wednesday, Beckett's health was taken out of question when the Red Sox placed him on the 15-day disabled list with more back trouble.
