Tim Redding signed a minor league deal with the New York Yankees Wednesday, just hours after being released by the Colorado Rockies. Redding had been pitching for the Rockies' Triple-A team in Colorado Springs this season.

Redding will be assigned to the Yankees Triple-A club in Scranton-Wilkes Barre.
