After missing five starts with a groin injury, Jason Heyward returned to go 2-for-4 with an RBI, two walks and his first stolen base, while hitting in the third spot for the first time.

He filled the 3-hole in place of Chipper Jones, a late scratch after aggravating a groin injury in Monday's 8-2 win.

"Jace had a good night," Cox said of Heyward. "He was on base four times, two walks, two base hits. We'll keep him up in the front of the order. His on-base percentage is off the charts right now."

Heyward is hitting .300 with a .423 OBP and leads the Braves and all rookies with eight homers and 27 RBI.
