Casey Kelly struck out seven batters in five innings of work in his Double-A start for Portland against Binghamton on Monday. Kelly, however, gave up three earned runs on five hits, three walks and a homer.

Kelly, Boston's top prospect, has 21 strikeouts in 20.2 innings of work in 2010.

He has a FIP of 3.52, but a WHIP of 1.45.
