The Mariners are struggling offensively and it has been hard for them to bring in outside help because teams aren't looking to deal.

Seattle general manager Jack Zduriencik says that "no one is selling. Everyone wants to sit tight and see what their club looks like."

He isn't the only executive to claim inactivity.

"There really isn't much substance to anything at this stage of the season," White Sox general manager Kenny Williams told the Chicago Sun-Times.

"Another 30 games, and you'll start to see talk pick up."
