Rodriguez sat out Sunday's game with pain behind his right knee. He went 1-for-4 with a single and a run scored in New York's 4-1 win over Baltimore. "The leg's perfect. Never been a problem," he said, while admitting he perhaps suffered from "a little cramping" because of Saturday's heat. Rodriguez also revealed that he'll rest from time-to-time. "We talked about [a day off] for about a week," Rodriguez said. "It had been like 22 or 23 straight [games] and we're trying always to keep it on the 10-game mark and go from there. I don't know if I needed it. I think Joe thought it was good for the big picture." |
