Reds manager Dusty Baker has apologized to the media for not talking to reporters following Saturday's loss to the Padres.
"Sorry about yesterday. I don't like to talk when I'm angry," Baker said.
Cincinnati had a closed-door meeting on Saturday.
"It was a much-needed meeting," pitcher Homer Bailey said. "We knew it was coming. Maybe there's a lot of excuses, but at the end of the day everybody needs to kind of look inside themselves and go out and play the game."
