Carlos Delgado still hopes to play in the major leagues this season.

Following hip surgery, Delgado is nearly done with an eight-month rehabilitation in Vail, Colorado.

"You want to get healthy, and obviously the plan is to end up playing somewhere, sometime," he said when visiting the Mets clubhouse on Tuesday.
