Red Sox shortstop Marco Scutaro recorded the first-ever hit at Target Field on Monday afternoon.

Scutaro singled off Minnesota's Carl Pavano to begin the game, the home opener for the Twins in their new outdoor stadium.

He was then caught trying to steal second base.
