CC Sabathia took a no-hitter into the eighth inning against the Rays on Saturday afternoon.

With two outs in the inning, the lefty's former Indians teammate Kelly Shoppach hit a sharp single to end the no-hit bid.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi immediately pulled Sabathia, who had thrown 111 pitches.

New York defeated Tampa Bay 10-0 at Tropicana Field.
