Giants ace Tim Lincecum pitched seven scoreless innings against the Astros on Monday in the team's 5-2 win.

The two-time Cy Young award winner lasted just three innings on Opening Day in 2009, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks.

"It wasn't that uncontrollable hype-ed-ness where I didn't know what was going on," Lincecum said. "I kind of had an idea what was going on. Obviously, Opening Day can be a little overwhelming, a little bit more exciting than a usual game. I try not to let that overwhelm me. I really tried to treat it like a regular game."
