Jose Reyes played seven innings at shortstop for the Mets on Friday.
He went 1-for-4 in a minor-league scrimmage against Triple-A New Orleans in Port St. Lucie.
The Mets will place Reyes on the disabled list Sunday, when regular-season rosters must be submitted.
