Phillies closer Brad Lidge isn't expected to be ready for Opening Day.

Recovering from offseason elbow and knee surgeries, Lidge has yet to pitch in a Grapefruit League game.

Lidge, 33, is coming off the worst season of his career, in which he blew more than a quarter of his save chances and posted a 7.21 ERA.
