X-rays taken on the left wrist of Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia have come back negative.

Boston manager Terry Francona said that the team was not worried about the injury and that Pedroia was even lobbying to play Thursday.

The injury occurred when Pedroia made a diving stop of a smash hit by Denard Span against the Twins on Tuesday night.
