The Rangers have acquired catcher Matt Treanor from the Brewers in exchange for infielder Ray Olmedo. Treanor suffered a bone spur in his right hip when he was with the Tigers last April and was put on the disabled list for the entire season. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised," Treanor said. "I'm going to a good situation and, hopefully, it works out well for the Brewers, as well. I was just starting to get to really know the pitching staff, and I love the clubhouse here." Treanor gives the Rangers some more depth at catcher.
