Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson sparked concern when he was hit on the hand with a pitch in Friday's exhibition game.

"Everything is good," Granderson said Saturday.

According to Granderson, he could have played on Saturday and said his removal from Friday night's game and icing program on his hand was "precautionary."

"[Trainer] Stevie [Donohue] said there was some minor, minor, minor stiffness," manager Joe Girardi said. "He will play [Sunday]. He did all his drills."
