Rays catcher Dioner Navarro suffered a nerve contusion in his left leg during a collision at home plate on Saturday.

Navarro was taken in an ambulance to a local clinic for X-rays, which came back negative.

He remained on the field for about eight minutes and had to be driven off on a cart.

Tampa Bay still hopes he'll be ready for Opening Day.
