The New York Post is reporting that Cuban shortstop Adeinis Hechavarria will pass on the Yankees to sign with the Blue Jays. Hechavarria is close to signing a $10 million deal with Toronto because he didn't envision himself playing short for the Yankees, according to a source. The 21-year-old didn't want to have to wait until Derek Jeter either retired or changed positions to play short.
