Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg threw three shutout innings on Sunday against the Cardinals.

St. Louis still defeated Washington, which dropped to 0-10 in exhibition play.

Strasburg, the top overall pick in last year's draft who signed a record $15.1 million contract, allowed two singles and a walk in his second spring training start.
