Free-agent pitcher Jarrod Washburn doesn't believe he'll ultimately sign with the Mariners.

"I have always loved watching him in the past, and would love the opportunity to do that, but the odds are probably not great," Washburn said of Seattle pitcher Cliff Lee. "However, nothing in baseball surprises me."
