Cubs president Crane Kenney says that manager Lou Piniella's future with the team will likely be a topic of conversation after the season.

Piniella is in the final year of his contract and has said that he doesn't want his status to distract the club.

"Lou's done a great job," Kenney said. "If he feels well and he wants to keep going, we'll have an interesting conversation.

"I think he's done a great job ... and he's raised the bar. That's a little bit of a burden we carry now. But that's a lot better than being picked fourth or fifth."
