A National League scout has confirmed that White Sox reliever Sergio Santos has hit 98 mph on the radar gun.

Santos is making the move from infielder to reliever.

"With every inning, I'm feeling more comfortable, feeling like a pitcher, and every time I go out there, my main focus is learning from the past and moving forward," Santos said.

"From the beginning, they said they would like me to be a bullpen guy," Santos said Friday. "That's fine with me. I like that mentality."
