Veteran free-agent Hank Blalock will choose between the Rays and Marlins, according to the St. Petersburg Times.

Tampa Bay and Florida are believed to interested in giving Blalock a minor-league deal.

He hit just .234 with 25 homers in 2009 and has been injury prone.
