Giants second baseman Freddy Sanchez isn't expected to be healthy enough to play by Opening Day. Sanchez doesn't expect to pick up a bat for at least another week, perhaps two, as he builds strength and mobility in his surgically-repaired left shoulder. "I would agree with that because I'm missing a lot of time," said Sanchez when asked if he should be considered doubtful for the April 5th opener against Houston. "The closer we get, the harder it is to (envision) getting back by then."
