Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said he has had preliminary conversations about signing designated hitter Erubiel Durazo to a nonguaranteed contract. Durazo is represented by Diego Bentz, who also represents outfielder Danny Bautista. Daniels said the Rangers have interest in both players.
