Marlins starting pitcher Josh Johnson is focused on entering the 2010 season in the best shape of his baseball career.

"I feel like I have to take care of my body a lot better," Johnson said. "You kind of take things for granted when you're 21 years old. You feel like you can do anything. My body ached, but I didn't take care of it as long as I should have or could have."

Johnson turned 26 on Jan. 31.

The Marlins made a major investment in the right-hander, signing him to a four-year, $39 million contract in January.
